According to the UK House Price Index for January 2021, there has been an annual price rise of 7.5% which makes the average property in the UK valued at £249,309.

North West experienced the greatest annual price rise, up by 12%.

In London, an annual price rise of 5.3% takes the average property value to £501,320.
